Today the Phantoms reintroduced Paul Hewitt as their GM. Paul Hewitt had left the face of the earth in January. However upon his return he was reinstated into the league. "I can't go into details with the press but some issues occured which prevented me from contacting the league. I can only discuss this with GMs and league officals. I apologize," said Hewitt at his press conference.
The Phantoms did well, avancing to the 3rd round of the playoffs. "I am really proud of the fellas," explained Hewitt, "hopefully I can regain my trust with them." Trust and his reputation will be a challenge for Hewitt but Hewitt appears dedicated to the cause.
Hewitt looks to make improvments to the Phantoms this off-season. He will start with selecting a coach in the inaurgural coach draft. Hewitt and co. will be selecting 13th. With a good coach on the way and Hewitt's theory on having an involved coach in management the future of the Phantoms can only improve.
