    Brief Overview:
    The Boston Red Army got their name from their first owner, Doom lambert, who stocked the team with a foundation built largely on Russian-born players back in 1998. The team was originally known as the Atlanta Red Army, but re-located to Boston after one NHA season.

    Throughout the years the Red Army have experienced a good deal of success, but culminating in their cinderella run to the NHA Cup finals in 2006 where they lost in six games to the Victoria Vengeance.

    Many of the clubs' top players, including top liner Brad Richards, have been with the Red Army franchise their whole careers. The team has lost players to free agency in recent times, however, and the prospect pool is not amongst the leagues' best. GM Max Di Paola will now try to get the club back into NHA Cup contention in the coming years.
