    Brief Overview:
    The Chicago Hitmen, who were known as the Chicago Anarchists from 1998 - 2006, are a franchise that has yet to find much success in the NHA. The club has historically had its veteran scorers for the "win now" approach, but unfortunately has yet to make a mark in the post-season.

    In 2004 the team made the playoffs for the first time in years, only to be knocked out in the first round. The first-round upset loss took place in 2006.

    The Hitmen now have their share of young players and prospects on which to build, and with the right guidance could become a force in future years in the NHA.
