    Brief Overview:
    The Los Angeles Predators are a team that has experienced very little success in the NHA...so far. One glance at the regular season history of the Predators will tell anyone that they haven't achieved much to date. In 2005-06 they finished dead last in the standings. However, fans in LA are feeling good about the club's chances in the future.

    With low positions in the standings comes high positions in the entry drafts, and the Predators have drafted well over the years. The team has several young up and coming stars including goaltender Kari Lehtonen who looks to take over the starting role from Manny Legace this season.

    They will have his work cut out for them to get into the playoffs for only the second time in club history this season. Many feel, however, that this is a team that could surprise and do some damage if they do make the post season. Time will tell.
